Inoperative Polaris seat
After meal service on UA 102 IAH-MUC last week I discovered seat controls on my Polaris seat were inoperative, and I was unable to fully recline or adjust the seat. FA manually adjusted the seat to full lie flat position, and then returned it to upright position prior to landing. This took a few minutes each time and involved the FA’s removal of the lower seat cushion. I was offered $250 or 12500 miles via the FA’s handheld device, which I thought was reasonable, and accepted the $250 ETC
