Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
In general yes.

Check-In was fast and efficient around 18:20 by one of two agent on duty on this Monday afternoon.
The agent, who checked me in, was friendly. I was this time not asked for ID as he knew me from my stay in the previous week I was also welcome as IHG Diamond Member. He offered points and drink voucher as a returning and frequent guest and guesture of my loyality. A nice touch ...

It was not mentioned, that I received an upgrade to a corner room. He also mentioned that 401 was avaialble (he was aware that the x01 are my favourite corner rooms). The app was updated during the night. It seems, that the hotels does this now more frequently than in the past.

Other than than, not much had changed since my last stay.

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked Standard Room and received the Corner Standard Room, which offers more space.

How are the rooms?
My room was located on the fourth floor at the end of the hallways. There are two rooms at the corner (x42 and x43) of the hotel, which are significantly larger and have three or four windows. The x01 is at the end of the hallway and thus has less noise. It also has s smaller bathroom but one with a glass door to the shower rather than the curtains. The x01 have only two windows though.

The bathroom is small. There is a sofa with a reading lamp and the movable desk. The TV is on the other side of the room and a bit far away, but okay. Other that this, the rooms are in the same style than any other room.

Since a couiple of month, the larger corner rooms have a Nespresso machine with six capsules and no kettle. There is also a mini fridge in the room, which was stocked with two bottles of beer (two bottles of Alt thise time), one coke, one bottle of still and one bottle of sparkling water. The num,ber of wattert bottles were reduced in the last couple of month-

The sofa doubled as pull out sofa and came with USB ports. The small lamp was nice. There is no real desk in any room of this hotel.

Room have already some wear and tear and there were stains in the carpets and scratches at the wall.

Breakfast was okay regarding quality and quantity. There are chicken sausages available. I did not get the mini hamburgers they sometimes offered in 2024. Vegetables, salad, rolls and pastries, cheese and salami and pancakes. Juice, coffee and tea are available from a dispenser.

The flexible rate was 78 EUR (Advanced purchase was 66 EUR). The hotel now also offeres 5k points for an additional 19 EUR like the “The niu” next door, which I did not took as I booked tha Advanced purchase rate a week before the stay as my stay was set.

Housekeeping is now done only every second stay. It was not done on after my first night but after my third night again.

Check-out was quick and friendly, though I had to request a print out of the folio.

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
66 EUR is a good rate for a fully flexible booking, the bonus point add-ons are also nice. The upgrade and the added amenities / room features are also a nice touch (hopefully the stay).

Yes, I will return and this was a returning stay.
