I attended the Race Night @ The Fairmont last year (for the Saturday night's F1 Qualfiying), it was only 8,000 points last year. It's worth it if you've got plenty of points to burn and enjoy F1. Plenty of canapés and then some more substainial buffet style dinner options. Heaps of dessert options. There was definitely no shortage of food. Lots of drink options too; champagne, beers, wine, sprints and soft drinks. Maybe around 50 people in attendance on the Saturday night last year. Two balconies for viewing the track from, otherwise everyone inside was watching on the TV screens. A couple of Accor reps in attendance who got around and talked to everyone, very friendly.

Track views were okay, quite a distance from the track, but still not too bad. See photo below.
