I wonder if they would have granted your reroute request if they kept you on the 787. Good outcome though especially with the extra SP.
We could have stayed in Y on the 787 flying NZ103.
I don’t think an320 was ever in play, and when ZK-NZD was assigned for NZ103 perhaps staff confused the smaller biz cabin with a smaller aircraft, although the phone call was explicit it was a single class service on a 320, so…. 🤷♂️.
