Expect no business class on EI compared to BA, and minimal earnings if i credited EI to my BAC, but any issues here? Would the EI flight, if booked as a codeshare via BA, credit or not?
For a £1500 fare difference (for BA CE and/or fare class?), sure if can get from T2 to T5 and slim it for 40 mins in probably the same economy seat.
Your EI flight booked as a BA codeshare would credit to BA Club, but I have no idea if it would credit to AY.
Perhaps you'd need to ask on the AY forum, as it is the AY frequent flyer programme that would be crediting this.
A cursory glance at the AY website lists all the BA fare classes and what earns what for Avios, and has no mention of any restrictions in earning, but you will have to ask on the Finnair forum on here, or just book it and find out.
Come back to us once you've flown and let us know the outcome! (or when you find the answer on the Finnair forum).
