I've only called in once and used the website at least twice, maybe 3 times.
Both options they will ask you for how much you are seeking. I know for a fact the website will then tell you either:
1) Congratulation, your request was approved (soft pull)
2) We can't give you that much, BUT we can give you XYZ (soft pull). Would you like to accept our offer, or would you like us to hard pull and try to get you what you asked for (I'm paraphrasing here).
There maybe a third option: sucks to be you (but I haven't gotten this yet)
