Steak is hit and miss. Many stars have to align to make a steak on a plane decent: The chef in the kitchen preparing the food has to be experienced and the FA heating it up too. If one or both fail, it's terrible. And meat quality has to be good, too.
This is very true since the times where I have had the steak cooked to my liking on an aircraft is very very minimal. Doesn’t matter if it is J or F or with which airline.
So usually stick to other meats since seeing an overcooked steak (if it is a good meat) is painful 😂
