Does anyone think this combination of very lucrative spending offers combined with no real accurate way of knowing what counts and your current status is intentional on Citi's end to increase spend? Or do we really believe they are just *that* bad at the user interface side of things?
I could go either way. It feels intentional...but then when I look at the offers tab and see only a handful of my activated offers and only one of those in Spanish I think 'maybe they just suck at this'. Like why would a Spanish speaker only get to know about 1 of the offers?

I'm with you on this. I had pending charges show up for a few days period and then they got rid of it. This data points and that the regular Citibank credit card site shows pending transactions makes me believe it's intentional. They hope that people spend more rather than exactly cutting off spend at the end of the month or when fulfilling online spend or whatever.
