You can always be the DP, but I don't see why they would make an exception for overnight flights when they generally haven't during slow times at their other lounges.
Since it sounds like you "might" get stuck, have you considered scanning your old boarding pass and trying that? I'm assuming there is a delay/cxl of some sort rather than you booking an intentional overnight itinerary.
