I have an upcoming CHS-IAD flight with interesting upgrade pricing. When I first bought the ticket I could have bought a P seat for $65 over coach. I turned it down figure I would just use PPs and get upgraded closer to departure. Well I checked every few days and my upgrade offer climbed quickly to $960. That is a hard pass. Then it came down to $100 today so I decided to check what the refare would be and I got a P fare at $65 upcharge. I quickly snatched that up.
