MS: Manufactured Spending. People used to do things like buy money orders on a credit card to "manufacture spending" on it, and then cash them in.

But I think credit card companies have gotten wise to things like this and they no longer work. There may still be tricks like this that work -- the previous poster apparently knows -- but not me.
