I need to book international travel in the next few weeks, but I don't have a date (waiting for a baby to be born :-)

Any other suggestions please?
You need to cancel AFTER the 24 hour period so that you will be issued an FFC that is valid 1 year from booking date. The FFC will be tied to the name of the person booked unlike the ETC which is not tied to anyone's name, so just be sure to book for someone who will definitely be using those funds within the next year.
