Regardless of the reason (probably the seats not being installed yet), I would expect AA to not replace any of the A321Ts until they have a critical mass, such as seven or eight, because it seems like it would be disruptive to service to have only one or two of these bouncing between the coasts amid the old ones. Not to mention the changes to seating configurations for existing bookings and not having enough planes to ensure their availability on those reconfigured flights. I really think 2026 is the earliest we will see these on Flagship transcon.
