Look into MOBILE INVERTERS which are less costly and more versatile as they allow you to run/charge anything that you'd ordinarily need to plug in.

No special tips, no power only/no charge limitations, and nothing extra to carry other than the adaptor you would have intended to carry anyway if it were a Juice or Juice-type unit.

That is kind of bad by Targus as the Empower system is only made to deliver 75 watts of power. And as many Dell and Sony notebooks require 90, 100 or even 120 watts of power you will never relly be able to use the device.
Why someone would make a 150 watt inverter with an empower socket is beyond me, as you will never be able to pull that kind of power our of the side of the seat...
