Renovations look great compared to the Crowne Plaza days. Room could use additional lighting in the wetbar, closet, and shower areas.
Most of the staff are wonderful. Did have an unfortunate experience with one team member that significantly impacted the stay.
Fantastic door staff. Area in front of hotel can be challenging for drop-offs and pick-ups since no dedicated valet area.
Restaurant/bar is not currently open. Hotel is providing points in lieu of the Globalist breakfast.
The Hyatt Grand Central is still my preferred given its location (connected to Grand Central Station) and Globalist amenities (16th flr lounge with outdoor patio and restaurant breakfast).
The Hyatt Regency Times Square has a great location for sightseeing. When fully opened (currently only 50% of rooms renovated) with all the usual Globalist amenities, this will be a great Hyatt option in NYC. Not sure if a club lounge is planned.
The rooms look much nicer than Grand Central
