I just submitted my application and immediately received this email:
We appreciate your interest in Fast Track Immigration-Trusted Travelers Program.
We are glad to inform you that we have received your application no. applied against S.R.
Next, you need to get your biometrics enrolled. You may enrol your biometrics at any of the designated 31 International Airports during your next international journey or you may schedule an appointment at any FRRO office.
So do I get my biometrics done, and then they tell me if I'm approved/rejected? Or is the above basically an approval?
I thought first they would process/review my application, approve me, and then I would need to go for biometrics.
I have the same question. The email says to do the biometrics and then the application will be processed. This seems to be different from what others have mentioned earlier.
Specifically I got this in email:
For further processing of your application, you first need to get your biometrics enrolled at Mumbai Airport (or any other designated International Airport in India) during your international travel by showing the QR code generated after successful submission of your application.
