Main meal service - relaxed as a 1500 local departure


Amouse bouche - nice flavour combo paired with the Chablis

Roasted spiced duck - really nice cold dish paired with the crunchy pickled veg - a great pairing with the Santenay

Braised beef short ribs - nicely cooked and plenty of beef - paired with the Pauillac (of course!)

Pistachio and strawberry gateau - nice desert and not too sweet

Cheese board (lacking the chutney) and quite bland but the Dow's, Calheita Port went some way to making up for it ;-)
