Yes, it's part of the data but I don't think there is a way to make (an unmodified) Google Wallet show it in the app. You can trick the new BA check-in portal into showing you a link to download a pkpass/pkpasses by setting your user agent to iOS Safari, and the pkpass definitely contains all the information you'd want (including the Fast Track image), but Google Wallet throws it all away as soon as it detects that it's a boarding pass. Well, except for the boarding pass colour, so if you want a pass with a gold background (which is actually useful since the group number doesn't show up) importing the pkpass is the way to go.
