I would say no doubt the 135K for CP is going to increase, if the rumors are true the spend time on any 100K card is 5 months so a person could apply in mid August and easily time the bonus to post in 2026 for 2026/27 companion pass.

The cards also still have 10K CPQP so properly timed that puts anyone who gets one of these cards with at least 110K CPQP in January 2026.

I see the priority card says you can pick a preferred seat when booking, does anyone know if I booked 2 flights on points (not using companion pass) can I pick a free preferred seat for both passengers even if the 2nd passenger doesn't have the priority credit card ?
