Gold, booked SJO IAH about 12 hrs ago for tomorrow AM. 15 booked of 16 seats. I've been #1 on the upgrade list (and the only one). Still no upgrade. I guess UA is waiting for one more paid F.

haha...was not CAS, C...I was LAM, S. CAS, S had been upgraded yesterday afternoon (when I first checked).
at check-in, the agent confirmed that I was still #1, and 1 seat was open, about T-75 and it would be handled at the gate.
I was at the gate, on time, for boarding. The app still showed 16 seats/15 booked/11 checked-in. I asked the GA about the upgrade. She told me that F was booked full, and, paraphrasing, she wished passengers wouldn't use the app as it is 'always inaccurate'.
That last F seat, 2C, was filled by a passenger at the very end of boarding.
Not a big deal. I barely make Gold each year. Most of my flying in hub to hub and I dont expect upgrades, so I was excited that I was so close (yet so far).
