Just returned for my second stay for Tomorrowland weekend. Apparently, the hotel will be shutting down for a remodel on July 28, just as soon as they kick out of the W2 Tomorrowland guests. The standard rooms were booked up for the festival travel packages, but I was able to get a king balcony for points & cash, and I very much enjoyed the balcony/view from the 6th floor. The location simply can't be beat for convenience for anyone traveling in/out by train, and there is even a LIDL just around the corner. I really do hope the hotel stays as a Lindner after the renovation, as it is a very good property to have in the Hyatt family, and quite premium as far as Lindners go.
The front desk staff does need a bit more training and the housekeeping staff completely dropped the ball on my final night (only one bath towel, only one water, no bag in the trashcan). The fridge is also quite useless, as they fill it up with minibar crap and stick it in a poorly ventilated cabinet, where it is chronically overheating. The A/C is also a bit of an afterthought, as it was never much cooler than the outside.
