Pre-paid reservation data point:

I recently booked 5 nights at Park Hyatt Bangkok with a pre-paid rate to save couple hundred dollars. I was sent an email about ~2 days later to pay the reservation amount online. I read on reddit/flyertalk before that these online deposits may not classify as hotel/hyatt for credit card points. I used my Chase Sapphire Reserve Business, and I am happy to say that I received 4x points for this payment.
