As of a couple of weeks ago they were still issuing Mastercard branded debit cards for new accounts although the new account info already referenced the possibility of Discover debit cards. Looks like I got in under the wire for being issued a Mastercard debit card. Wondering if they will wait a bit to swap it out since I just got it or if they will make the move right away. Primarily opened for the new account bonus but do plan to use the card to withdraw cash occasionally as needed when out of the country due to no FTFs.
