^^^ This. AC doesn't partner with PR or 5J for inter-PH travel. So it is pointless for those going to secondary cities to fly AC as they have to have separate tickets for the domestic Filipino leg. With everyone having 2 bags at 23kg for the international flight and then being limited to a total of 0 or 10 or 20kg for the domestic fare, it creates hassles. I know a lot who were so excited to fly AC YVR-MNL only to find out they can't be on one ticket for the MNL-wherever connection. Thus, they end up staying with PR to stay on one ticket.
It amazes me AC doesn't have an interline or codeshare agreement to funnel traffic beyond MNL.
