Hotel Indigo Boston
Indigo Boston
What is your Priority Club status?
Diamond Elite
Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
For the main part - Yes
Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Standard Double - received the same
How are the rooms?
Stayed in Room 511 on top floor. High ceilings for a strange L shaped room.
Bathroom was clean and airy with no window.
Beds were fine -
Aircon worked well and wasn't too noisy
There was a closet with a window which allowed luggage to be stored. Small fridge and very small desk.
Overall, it felt quite cramped with three people
How is the exec. lounge?
N/A
What was good and what was bad?
- Good location - The hotel is situated next to the North Station and is in easy walking distance of The North End shops and restaurants. Also walkable to Boston Common, Beacon Hill and Quincy Market area.
- Friendly reception staff and and nice to have cold bottled water at the door.
- Late check-out
- Several bulbs and light fixtures not working. We met the maintenance guy in the elevator who came to look, but couldn't fix the bedside reading light, as it was an internal wiring issue.
- We chose the Diamond amenity breakfast. On the menu there were several choices available. There was only one person taking breakfast orders and serving - not professionally dressed mixed up the orders. I also thought the the breakfast vouchers included gratuity and tax - apparently not.
- Presented with a bill on check-out charging us for breakfasts; questioned the charges and they were removed, but still sloppy.
Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
Paid 113,000 points for 2 nights. Reasonable for stay in central Boston with breakfast. Would stay again due to location, but would also like to try the Intercontinental (booked out for our stay)
