Hawaiian Airlines in the first quarter of 2026 schedules aircraft change on Seattle – Tokyo Narita route, as the airline files Boeing 787-9 aircraft, instead of the A330-200. For the moment, the 787 operation is listed from 07JAN26 to 20APR26, Seattle departure. HA823 SEA1230 – 1600+1NRT 789 DHA824 NRT1825 – 1005SEA 789 D
Makes sense to harmonize all international long-haul routes on the same aircraft type. SEA-ICN and SEA-FCO are already scheduled to fly on 787-9 aircraft.
The only downside: still no Starlink Wi-Fi on 787-9 aircraft. Any update on when that's supposed to happen?
