Literally the funniest part is that no one has been able to prove CX will not do it. There are only examples of CX actively providing interline to competitors, and no examples of CX refusing to interline, which is what you and many people have asserted.
Delta does interline with ANA, to provide domestic connectivity out of HND because it doesn't have a SkyTeam or equity partner based there. The same is true for HKG, it's really that simple. Delta will be the one to choose to do so, even if it's unlikely (which is what I said originally).
This is quite literally what I said, 100% of it still holds up.
