Btw, besides the cards, this kind of reasoning is why I really appreciate when they take a bit to have a conversation too. I have a few very memorable moments with KL and AF crews over the years.

In fact, the thing that won them my loyalty was many years ago, me and my wife were flying to BUD, both of us silver; and slept through the flight. As we were deplaning, the purser briefly stopped us, and referred to us by name, asking if we slept well because she stopped by with food for us and we were asleep. People who go that extra mile, is what makes me want to fly AFKL, because I can be just a passenger on LH, BA, or so any other airline out there, but this kind of thing is what makes me actively choose AF/KL.
