The rules are pretty standard across Germany (clothes in the pools and no clothes in the spa) but it may come as a shock at how strict they tend to enforce these rules.

Where it gets confusing (outside of the GH) is there are often pools in the spa and some places the only have shower or lockers in the spa area. Sometimes spas have different rules than sauna (even though what’s in the sauna is what Americans would consider spa). It can be a bit tricky to navigate if you are expecting a certain way.
