I will readily admit that my advance purchase domestic first is in inflation adjusted terms about what a heavily discounted coach seat sold for in the early 80s. So get that I am getting a meal equivalent to what coach got 40 years ago. And I now can feed myself with more than pretzels at the club. But is a cheese tray to much to ask on 867 mile flight?
Back in the day, the airline my dad flew for managed to serve hot meals
in coach on the JAX-MIA flight, which is 335 air miles. The flight attendants hated that flight.
