Hey everyone, I have a strange, or strange-ish type question. I will be traveling domestically on Sunday to my home town. I want to bring a cooler with me because there's a lot of items that I want to bring back with me on my return. Is a cooler allowed to be checked in? I realize I'd still have to conform to the weight restrictions. But, can a cooler be considered a check luggage? Obviously I'd double, triple rounds of tape to make sure it doesn't open. So, it'd be empty on my outbound flight, and full on my return. Just wanting to know if that's legal by AA policy. Thanks in advance everyone.
