Yes, but the Thompson's room is more spacious than the one at the Standard East Village.

The Thompson is in a more tony neighborhood at W. 57th street whereas the Standard is in a far more fun part of town but not as high brow.

I have stated before that up until now, the Andaz Fiffh Avenue has been my go-to Hyatt property in Manhattan, and today, the Standard East Village is also my new go-to. I favor the Standard slightly over the Andaz, and definitely more than the Thompson (and I dislike the Park Hyatt NY intensely).
