I just looked at UA for random dates in June SEA-LHR. Its 200,000 miles with multiple flight availability on every day. No hunting down availability, no mixed itinerary's, no surcharges, no paying extra for seats, no dealing with Alaska and some partners inept IT. If I am going to end up paying that much no matter, why stick with Alaska?

it's up to you bruh. good luck earning 200k United miles versus 200k Alaska miles. Some will earn the former much more easily than others but with spend based tickets at United, I will personally pass
