Indeed true enough: My flight is at 10.15am so I shall have done the stuffing in the hotel with my Malaysian food for breakfast, and with the 4 of us, and some ambiguity about the charging for children, it would definitely cost me "some" money. Now bearing in mind if they'd have sold me business class I would have paid for it, but when unbundled I am more likely to think "let's go sit in a cafe and have a good quality experience for the one hour required for waiting" than let's sit in a souless lounge
I will be flying back thru BKI about three days later but with Royal Brunei business class, so will get access to one of these lounges to compare the experience and feed back which is best between the lounge and no lounge, I guess that will be the "international" side though
Thanks everyone anyway for the insights, I shall report back for prosperity's sake when I take the flights, though it seems it won't matter in the long run!
