It's been smokey over ND due to Canadian forest fires. I wonder whether that could have been a complicating factor. Visibility wouldn't have been very good the last few days (and continuing, plus intermittently for most of the summer).

ADDED: It was flying MSP to Minot and was on time, arriving at 8:09 pm.
