I should point out that back in the days that there was all sorts of hard booze available, many FT'ers and I mean MANY reported all sorts of Ex-Soviets and Middle Easterners "decanting" Scotch and Whiskey into their own water bottles, etc, if not just swiping entire bottles on a regular basis. There is something in particular about these lounges.............Personally I loath entering them for morning flights from Istanbul as even though they have been cracking down a bit on the sleepers, those overnight transfer people are generally a mess, sleep like a mess, eat like a mess and leave the place a stye. EK and QR have similar demographics, but it never seems as bad.
