How are the rooms?
See photos. No major issues.
Thermostatic shower mixer not completely effective.
Some rubbish from previous guest was missed by housekeeping. But linens and towels were clean.

How is the exec. lounge?
None

Received diamond welcome points.

Lobby and breakfast areas are very expansive giving the vibe of a large sports hall, echoey and cold.

Poor quality UK HIX-style breakfast, in line with expectations.

Weird lift situation, there are 4 lifts but when you walk towards them you can only see one. That one was reserved for staff use. Somehow this led to guests bumping into each other when trying to work out which lift's door was opening; was slightly disorientating.

22000 points. Closest IHG to New Street station from where it is an easy flattish walk, which is all I needed.
