I didn't think Air NZ would have a spare given they've had aircraft in storage over the issue. Would be unfair for any airline to have spares sitting on the ground when there's a shortage but money does talk so it wouldn't surprise me if another airline had a spare. RR I would expect to have a spare. I think the 747 freighters transport the RR engines? A week to swap the engine over. Still sounds pretty quick.


ZK-NNI / D-AVXZ has at least completed 2 test flights so hopefully not much longer before it's on its way home.
