I haven’t stayed at Sharm El Sheikh yet but have been doing a lot of research for a trip next year.
I’ve seen some reviews of people being disappointed in the meal plan. Yes there are restrictions in what restaurant you can go to and some items may cost extra. It wouldn’t be a good fit for us anyway as we tend to eat a large breakfast and then only want a small snack for lunch. Plus FSPP is giving us a complimentary breakfast anyway. And sometimes we like to do room service which I don’t think is included.
As for room, it’s my understanding that the Premier (new) rooms are closer to the shoreline and therefore have a better view. Can someone confirm that for me? We’relooking at the Premier Four Seasons Suite without pool since a sea view is important to us and the pool suites are on the lower level. Yes those hedges look to offer privacy but you’re right to ask if the people on the upper level can see you. Not sure how many are in your party but the Four Seasons Suite offers a 2nd full bath.
Also, can anyone comment on Bedouin dinner options? I saw a review of someone complaining about the A&K stargazing Bedouin night being in a shack instead of a tent. Does the resort offer a private or group option at the hotel? Would want the classic experience of sitting cross legged, watching dinner preparation, dance/music performance. My son hasn’t done anything like that before.
