Thanks. My stay was at the beginning of June. The Hilton was a lot more expensive but I paid USD 119.27 at the HGI which I thought was quite reasonable.

I also had a signed card in the room which mentioned an early check-in of 10am and a late check-out of 4pm upon availability. It may be useful for anybody considering a stay there.

Getting Yandex between the airport and the hotel was a lot easier than expected after reading about some people experiencing difficulty. I had downloaded the app before leaving home and set the address as HGI Astana. It worked well in Astana and Almaty in Kazakhstan and Tashkent in Uzbekistan.
