Hi, all. I'm flying GRU-YUL-USA next month on a business class award ticket. I have no AC status.
I'd like to get a shower after my overnight flight from GRU at the start of my 11 hour connection at YUL. Can I access the international ML on arrival in this case? Assuming that's a no, is there another standard place to get a shower inside public/transborder YUL or in a not-too-expensive hotel near the airport?
My hope was to shower and then spend a few hours in the city before my evening flight to the USA. Looks like there's a place to leave my carry-on luggage at the airport.

You won’t be able to enter the International area on arrival. You will either need to enter the US area directly or leave security and arrive in Canada. You will have access to the Transborder lounge prior to departure but no showers there.
There are showers in GRU lounge thar AC uses so you can at least shower before your flight. On arrival I will leave others to comment on cheap hotel options but I am sure there are hotels of varying quality downtown. Your cheapest option may be a day pass at a fitness centre with a shower or a spa.
