Great pictures. I visited last month and really enjoyed it. But I stayed at the Hampton. It's a bit further out, but might be worth considerimg if the HGI rates are much higher. The room was a standard Hampton room decor wise, but was decent sized. Instead of a welcome snack on check-in, there was a plate with some nuts and cake in my room, with a card. It was my first visit to Kazakhstan and I wondered how it would work out, but it was very easy. Got an e-sim and used Yandex (they don't have Uber) and it all worked well.
