Emailed the hotel in advance to find out what rooms would connect , if I could make the reservations separately and then have them setup the reservations for connecting rooms, along with a couple other questions. They were super responsive and took care of everything. Would not hesitate to make the two separate reservations and then email that you will be staying two nights across them.
Thanks for your info. Good to know that they are helpful and responsive. I am still trying to decide whether to use Amex Platinum FHR and book both nights and just spend the Aspire credit in the restaurants. I usually enjoy going out to local restaurants a lot more than eating at the hotel though. Most to the time it's better food and better price.
