Does anyone know the reasoning behind this and if they will be rolled to S26?

Was helpful to refer to the early Gibraltar for family as the 492 when getting picked up but looks like I might need to double check flight numbers again!
I guess the domestics are due to shrinking of the program over the years; there must have been a block of LBAs in there somewhere! ( KARFA?) I suspect it then frees up flight numbers for codeshares.
