They tend not to hang about. I’ve done twilight check in quite a few times at LGW but only once within 15 minutes of closing. At that point they were making moves to shut up shop and that was pre Covid.
By all means get a wiggle on to get there ASAP but don’t feel too disappointed if you make it 30 seconds past nine and the terminal is deserted.
