why wont people sign up for a $600 card? csr is 795, amex plat is going higher. there will be a lot people ready to drop 1 of those if the citi card is good. citi travel is more pricey, but at 12x, it is competitive against 3x even with the markup. 12x is also better than 10x with aa exec world elite if you want aa miles, and aahotels/car also markup. flights often have zero or smaller mark up. and your info of new strata-family rules is from? even chase dropped that. you could earn sub from csp 1 year ago, pc to freedom and earn sub for csr now

you basically earn peanuts from all the co-branded cards today, and with strata, the overall earning power is going to increase alot too

and we havent even talked about a citi strata business card

dont need to overthink this, it is a simple reason why dl and ua value are closer to 1cpm
