My return flight is two UA flights. I've had a flight change where flight number has changed, but realistically times are the same (literally a minute difference).
Does this allow me to change flight on the same day?
Not too bothered, but would be helpful to me to get a later flight.

You're eligible for a refund, but may not be eligible for a change -- that's at an agent's discretion and I wouldn't get my hopes up.
