The funds from your cancelled flight will keep its current expiration date. Buying another WGA or WGA plus or Choice fare won't extend the expiration date. And any additional funds that may be added to the expiring funds to purchase a new ticket will take the earliest expiration date fi that flight is cancelled.

Lesson learned. I’ll keep buying the fire sale fares they have to offer because of their disastrous policy changes (I have 6 round trips across the country for $67 each way). After that I will not be on SWA any longer.
