Stayed in one of the renovated rooms on floor 9 couple of days ago. Been here several times so it was nice to be back.
Parking was 320 dkk/night as usual. I can advice to stay on address Kalvebod Brygge 31 (2 minutes walk) if you arrive on Sundays or even Saturdays. Why? Parking is totally free on Sundays starting 5 Pm to 12 AM. So I parked my car here, scanned the qr code for APCOA on parking sign and instead of 320 dkk for that day it was 0 dkk (+ about 50 dkk as I moved the car early on Monday morning at 07 am to the hotel). Easy park app was showing fee during this time frame so use APCOA app or qr code. Other times on weekend it's just 6 dkk/hour. Check below

Lounge was excellent as always with varied meals. Breakfasts had the same food every morning but still good.
How about the renovated room? Mixed feelings. The room was big as usual (standard room towards city center) and the design was nice. The new couch towards the window was appreciated by my kids who liked to play around there at the window with their toys.
The bathroom though was a disaster and huge letdown. The shower pressure was very weak and the sevage in the shower couldn't drain the water fast enough so there was a small pool after I was done. I complained the morning after and they fixed it. But the shower pressure.. Come on. I need a good shower with at least decent water pressure when I shave my head.
Also not a fan of the "golden" materials in bathroom. Looked cheap.
I need to reconsider where to stay for my next visit in Cph depending on if I will miss the lounge or not.
About the walking distance to train station, yes it's a little bit of a walk about 10 minutes to Tivoli/train station but on the other hand the hotel is placed excellent if you arrive by car and need a parking spot. Very easy to drive away by car as well.
Also the location next to the river is very nice for grabbing a beer and enjoy the view at the river or want to walk up the river to Nyhavn. It's a good 30 minutes walk but very nice in the summer.
Tourist streets like Ströget etc are only fun once btw.
