I actually asked BA about these proactive upgrade offers on reward bookings because I receive them all the time.

I was told that they do exist if they are showing in the app. When I said they always show an error they just said "They are time limited so sell out fast".

They couldn't seem to understand that the offers remain there all the time and it's an IT error and probably not something that is possible.
